How to start using AI in your business (without feeling overwhelmed)
AI is everywhere right now, and if you’re running a business, you’ve probably wondered if (or how) you should be using it. The good news? You don’t need to be super tech-savvy or overhaul everything overnight. AI isn’t here to replace what you do—it’s just another tool to help you work smarter.
So where do you start?
Look for the little things. What tasks eat up way too much of your time? Scheduling meetings, sorting emails, drafting social posts? AI can handle a lot of that, freeing you up for bigger things.
Start small. You don’t need a full-blown AI strategy—just try one tool. Maybe an AI-powered writing assistant for emails, or an automation to handle repetitive admin work. See what works and build from there.
Use AI to support, not replace. AI won’t replace your creativity, voice, or expertise—but it can speed things up. Use it to brainstorm ideas, organize information, or give you a starting point when you’re stuck.
Adjust as you go. Not every AI tool will be a perfect fit, and that’s okay. Pay attention to what actually makes your life easier and ditch the rest.
The goal isn’t to rely on AI for everything—it’s to find simple ways to make your workflow smoother, so you have more time for the work (and people) that really matter.
Have you started using AI in your business yet? I’d love to hear what’s been helpful for you!
